Dr. Nicola Chong

Hi, I'm Dr. Nicola

Helping children have a positive and comfortable dental experience brings me immense joy and fulfilment. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing young patients overcome their fears and grow in confidence during their dental visits, knowing I have played a small part in making that journey easier for them.

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and spent several years caring primarily for paediatric patients within the government healthcare system, including the Health Promotion Board, School Dental Service, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Driven by a passion for children’s oral health, I pursued advanced specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry and completed my Doctorate in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Edinburgh. I also attained the Tri-Collegiate Specialty Membership in Paediatric Dentistry in the United Kingdom.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of caring for children across a wide range of ages and needs. My experience spans infants, toddlers, and school-aged children in primary care settings, as well as more complex dental rehabilitation for children with behavioural, developmental, and medical needs in tertiary care.

My approach to paediatric dentistry is grounded in patience, empathy, and evidence-based care. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and understood during their dental visits. By creating a warm and welcoming environment, I aim to help both children and parents feel comfortable and reassured throughout the treatment journey.

Every child is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs while tailoring care to make each visit as positive and stress-free as possible.

My hope is to help children build positive experiences with dental care from an early age, laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles and confident dental visits.

Book an appointment with Dr Nicola today and let us support your child’s journey towards healthy, happy smiles.
